Dungeon23: Greystone - Day 20
Real life! No!
Regular life has gotten slightly busier this week, so I've had to miss a few days and catch up. As I've said a few times, I'm not going to beat myself up over this. The goal is to keep moving forward and perfect daily progress isn't required.
Fortunately, I'm caught up again as of now!
So, to catch up here are the rooms I've done since my last post:
1-18 Dress Shop
This is the remains of what was once a luxurious dress shop. It served the high end clientele of this part of the city with garments of silk and satin. Now it belongs to the goblins. This is one of two rooms controlled by the Bloodfeather Goblins, who are based in the house from week 1. They have a bit of an outpost here and are busily making plans to push further into Kobold territory.
In this room, they've found several partially preserved dresses and the goblins here have taken to wearing them. This actually raises their profile in the band considerably. The leader of this outpost (Gult) is actually contemplating a coup against Boss Zrot from back in week 1. (That's not written down in the image below, but will show up tomorrow).
His little group here is busy assembling a ramshackle contraption designed to hurl flaming flasks of oil. Theoretically it is to be used in raids against the Kobolds, but Gult is contemplating how it could be used to take control of the house.
In the attached workroom, there are some sewing supplies and two bolts fine silk fabric.
1-19 Middle Class Home
This was once a very nice home. It still features a table, chairs and a large bed. Kobolds have converted it into a place of worship however. The most devout of their sect live and worship in this place, while simultaneously guarding the stairs down to the lower level. They are led by a shaman. He uses an elaborate jeweled chalice in his rites and is never without it.
1-20 Middle Class Home
This is also what remains of a formerly comfortable home. Both this room and 1-15B were parts of the same dwelling. This room features a beautiful tile floor, now marred with cracks and accumulated filth & debris. In each corner of the room is a large flower pot, now empty. The room also features elaborate crown molding. It is otherwise empty.
